Terms of Service

Last updated 26 October 2026. These terms are the agreement (end-user licence agreement) between you and TOPY AI LTD for using TOPY.AI.

Who we are

TOPY.AI is provided by TOPY AI LTD, a private limited company registered in England (company number 15680659), registered office 5 Audley Rise, Tonbridge, TN9 1XU, United Kingdom. Contact us at [email protected].

The service

TOPY.AI helps founders plan and run a company: it writes and revises business plans, keeps the company’s goals, KPIs, milestones and other records, drafts reports such as investor updates and board packs, and lets AI assistants you connect (for example Claude, ChatGPT or the TOPY CLI) do the same work for you. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service for your business while your account is in good standing and you follow these terms.

Your account

You must be at least 18 and able to enter into contracts for the business you use TOPY.AI for. Keep your sign-in, API keys and connected apps secure; you are responsible for what is done through them. An assistant you connect acts on your instructions, and changes it proposes run only after you confirm them (or within a standing permission you granted).

Your content

You own what you put into TOPY.AI and what it produces for you, such as plans, reports and decks. You give us the permission we need to store and process it to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You confirm you have the right to upload what you upload, including other people’s details you add (for example investor contacts).

Connected services

You can connect other services so TOPY.AI can read figures for your KPIs — for example Stripe, QuickBooks Online, QuickFile or cmo.so. We use that access only to read the data needed for the features you turn on (such as revenue, cash and burn), we store the tokens encrypted, and you can disconnect at any time from the operating board; for QuickBooks, disconnecting also revokes our access at Intuit. Your use of those services stays subject to their own terms.

AI-generated content

TOPY.AI uses AI models to write and analyse. Their output can be wrong or incomplete, and figures, projections and assessments are estimates based on the information available. TOPY.AI does not give legal, tax, accounting, investment or regulated financial advice; check important decisions, filings and anything you send to investors or authorities with a qualified professional.

Acceptable use

Don’t use TOPY.AI to break the law, infringe others’ rights, mislead investors or others, send spam, upload malware, probe or overload our systems, get around usage limits, or resell the service without our written agreement.

Plans, credits and payment

Some features cost TOPY credits or need a paid plan; prices are shown before you buy or spend. Payments are processed by Stripe. Credits charged for a job that fails are returned automatically. Your statutory consumer rights, where they apply, are not affected.

Availability and changes

We work to keep TOPY.AI available and secure but don’t promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or stop features; if a change materially reduces what you paid for, we will tell you in advance where we reasonably can.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Otherwise, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, business or data, and our total liability in any 12 months is limited to the amount you paid us in that period.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using TOPY.AI and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. When your account ends, we handle your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, except where your local consumer law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.

Changes to these terms

We will post changes on this page and, for significant ones, tell you by email or in the app before they take effect.
